In this 2-day class, you will make a traditional Scandinavian Skinnfells (sheepskin coverlets) from start to finish. Students will learn more about selection of sheepskins for hand-sewing and we will practice on basic sewing techniques.

Participants will finish their own skinnfell made from 2 sheepskins during the weekend and will learn about the traditional woodblock printing techniques used for decoration. You will leave the class with a new skinnfell and with knowledge you can use for many other craft projects with tanned sheepskins as material.
