 Description: Everyone at some point in learning to knit has inadvertantly created holes in their knitting. Done deliberately,these holes form the basis of lace knitting. In this class you'll learn the fundamentals of lace knitting while knitting a small sampler. Upon completion of the sampler, you'll have the skills and the remainder of the skein to knit a simple shoulder shawlette. Students must be comfortable knitting and purling.Bring to class: one, 24-inch US size 5,6 & 7 circular knitting needle, row counter and stitch markers (4 min., 8-12 preferable). |
