 Description: Kids Session I – DYEINGDuring this weeklong class, we will collect natural dyestuff, from the kitchen, backyard, and neighborhood. We will transform these into dye that we can use on cloth and yarn. Students will learn about safety with natural dyes and dyeing. They will discover how common leaves and flowers can turn into uncommonly lovely colors. This will be a roundabout introduction to color theory. Students should bring one white cotton T-shirt to this class. |
