 Description: “Expanding Your Visual Language through Fabric Collage”This 3-day playful workshop emphasizes the creation of dynamic, communicative fabric collages. Jason Pollen will guide students to work intuitively using a sewing machine, hand stitching and painting with acrylics and shared fabric remnants adhered to canvas. There will be demonstrations of painting, mono-printing, and collage techniques with an emphasis on design and composition. The class includes group discussions, individual critiques, and optional portfolio reviews. |
