 Description: This is the main dye used for cotton. In this class we will use the fiber reactive procion mx dye on cellulose fiber, primarily cotton. From three primary colors, we will produce 15 color samples for future use. Further, we will take painted procion-dyed fiber and batch it, and we will submit other procion-dyed cloth to vat dye immersion.Students should bring latex gloves, mask, apron, scissors, tape measure, and notebook. |
