The Majacraft Turkish Spindle Set is a combination of simplicity, functionality and beauty. The set includes four different Turkish spindles made from 6mm bamboo ply. They are weighted at 0.3oz, 0.5oz, 0.7oz and 1oz – actual finished spindles may vary slightly in weight.

The spindle arms have cut outs near the centre of rotation so that they have as much rotational inertia as possible.

Spindles are an easy way into spinning and because Turkish spindles collapse down flat, this is a set that you can take anywhere. The .3oz and .5oz spindles are perfectly suited for very fine yarns while the .7oz and 1oz spindles are great general purpose spindles.
