The second workshop in a series shares my experience with indigo dye, the most ancient dye in the world. Participants in this class will make a natural indigo dye vat based on the 1-2-3 method introduced by chemist, botanist and dyer, Michel Garcia. They will prepare 100% natural fiber cloth using shibori technique to create pattern. Then the pieces will be dyed in indigo.

Participants will bring 1 yard of natural fabric to dye.
